Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Mclean, VA (HybridRole)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract Role + Possible Extension
Pay Range: $28/hr to $30/hr
Job Description: The Developer is responsible for producing customizable, user-friendly templates for marKIT, Central resource for building marketing and creative assets. The Developer will use our marketing technology platform to create intuitive user interfaces, allowing users to customize print and digital marketing material. The role is an extraordinary blend of design and technology and requires someone who thrives on learning new tools and skills and who has an exceptional eye for detail.
As a Team Member in this role, you will be responsible for: - Collaborate with the marKIT team to review requirements, ensuring that templates function according to client specifications
- Use your understanding of programming concepts and logic to convert InDesign artwork into interactive, customizable templates via our marketing technology platform (platform training will be provided)
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug issues detected by QA or marKIT support
- Fix bugs and complete amendment requests for existing templates
- Understand and apply global rules to maintain consistency across delivered templates
- Actively participate in bi-weekly sprints, including planning and requirements meetings
- Leverage the capabilities of our platform to find efficiencies and streamline development
- Collaborate with our team of developers to share learnings, align on processes, and ensure work is on time and accurate
- Assist with creating and updating content pages within the marketing technology platform

Required Qualifications - Minimum Education: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) years of related professional work experience
- Experience with front-end web technologies (including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS) and user interfaces
- Experience with InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management software (ex. JIRA, Airtable)
- Comfortable working in Mac OS
- Experience working with print and digital media
