Salary: $85-100K annually DOE

As a Project Manager for Patriot Broadband Technologies, you are responsible for estimating/RFP responses, project planning and coordination, developing and maintaining production schedules, job profitability, billing and job costing support, and maintaining customer relations. You will play a vital role in ensuring the execution of projects by providing strong management and communication skills. A Project Manager has a strong understanding of telecommunications construction and possesses the leadership skills to direct work duties in a fast-paced environment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a production schedule and cost/revenue budget for each project.
  • Communicate and report to external customers and internal management daily.
  • Lead weekly meetings with clients and project team and maintain meeting notes.
  • Identify manpower requirements necessary to maintain the project schedule and budget and clearly communicate needs with the Field Operations Manager.
  • Purchase materials and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Perform quality checks at job sites as needed and maintain quality control standards set by customers or the company.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate). 
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. 
  • Able to meet the physical and mental aspects of the role.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, is preferred or a combination of education, industry certifications, and work experience.
  • At least five years of related experience required. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to hear and see within normal ranges
  • Must be able to effectively operate measuring devices and other machinery
  • Ability to navigate various environments comfortably to interact with team and perform work tasks
  • Able to have reasonable manual dexterity to perform work activities

Work Environment:

  • Work is conducted in a variety of indoor settings
