Job Overview:

FWDthink is seeking highly motivated and dedicated Technology Interns with a focus on cybersecurity, data analytics, social media, or business operations/administration to join our dynamic team. This unique opportunity allows individuals to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge technology environment, working closely with experienced professionals and contributing to real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and mitigating security risks, monitoring for security breaches, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement algorithms, data processing, and data analytics tools for deriving insights from complex datasets.
• Participate in software development projects, including writing and debugging code, developing unit tests, and documenting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and other developers to design and develop innovative applications.
• Assist with scheduling content on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn via a content management tool.
• Research social media influencers in key markets and provide recommendations for possible influencers to work with.
• Source compelling visual assets (video/photo) for social posts, utilizing the OpenTable network for restaurant content.
• Assist in community management across social platforms.
• Assist in selecting weekly giveaway winners for social posts on Instagram.
• Crop imagery in Photoshop for blog posts and organize.
• Research interesting articles to share on company LinkedIn.
• Engage in continuous learning through internal workshops, seminars, and external online courses.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Exceptions can be made, inquire within.
• Must live in a HUBZone and provide a driver's license as proof.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data analytics techniques, and software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools like R or Tableau, and cybersecurity tools like OWASP.
• Proficiency in multiple social media platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics preferred.
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eager to learn, ask questions, try and fail, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
