About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and creative undergraduate student to join our team as a Social Media Marketing Intern. You'll be joining a fun, high energy and inclusive marketing team, and in this role, you'll gain real world experience working alongside experienced marketers in a fast paced early stage startup.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with developing engaging and brand-consistent content for various social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
• Support the execution of our organic/paid influencer strategy, with the support of experienced marketing managers to mentor you
• Conduct research on industry trends and competitor analysis
• Schedule and publish social media posts using approved tools and platforms
• Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community
• Assist with community management, through social media outreach and in our growing Discord / Facebook communities
• Analyze social media data and reporting on key metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth) and provide recommendations on driving engagement
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas for social media strategies

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities
• Basic understanding of social media analytics
• A self starter, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for storytelling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Content creation, video editing a big plus
