Job Description
Revenue Cycle Specialist II
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience
100% ONSITE in the Phoenix AZ area 85009
Accurately record and post payments, adjustments, and denials received from payers and patients.
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility before services are provided, and update patient insurance information as needed.
Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies or government agencies.
Generate and send patient statements for outstanding balances, process refunds for overpayments.
Reconcile payments with billed charges to identify discrepancies.
Monitor the status of submitted claims and pursue resolution of unpaid or denied claims.
Identify and address claim rejections or errors promptly.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports and maintain organized reports.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a full Revenue Cycle processes (combination of Scheduling, Authorizations, Medical Billing and Claims processes etc.).
Experience in MS Office, and knowledge of EMR/HER systems.
Can maintain high detail in a fast-paced environment, while being successful in a repetitive environment.
Highly professional, and ability to communicate in a professional manner and eager to take on new responsibilities.
Ability to focus on and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
