Job Description

We are looking for a Radiation Therapist to deliver accurate and effective radiation treatments to patients, as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. You’ll ensure the highest quality care through precise procedures, dose calculations, and quality control checks.

Core Responsibilities:
* Administer radiation treatments according to physician orders.
* Prepare treatment setups, calculate doses, and maintain accurate patient records.
* Perform routine equipment checks, report malfunctions, and ensure safety.
* Communicate with patients about their treatment plans, appointments, and care instructions.
* Construct and evaluate treatment aids, positioning devices, and immobilization tools.
* Ensure patient charts and treatment parameters are accurate and updated.
* Maintain cleanliness and supply inventory in treatment rooms.
* Assist with the education of radiation therapy students.
* Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and equipment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and work in a team environment.

Additional Information:
* Flexibility for overtime and on-call duties as needed.
* Potential for travel to other CARTI locations for support.
