Job Description

LaSalle Network is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Analyst to join the team of one of our top manufacturing clients in Schaumburg, IL. This role is integral in ensuring efficient inventory management and optimizing purchasing processes to support business operations.


This is a temporary opportunity (3-month contract to start) and requires four days onsite in their Schaumberg office.



Purchasing & Inventory Analyst Responsibilities:

• Analyze inventory levels, usage trends and replenishment needs to maintain optimal stock
• Coordinate purchasing activities to meet production and operational requirements
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure timely deliveries
• Monitor and manage inventory discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis when needed
• Prepare and present reports on inventory performance and procurement activities
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Purchasing & Inventory Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory management or supply chain roles
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
