Job:  Pharmacy Technician -  Outpatient/ Call Center

Pay: $21-$25/hour - Depending on experience

Location:  Santa Ana, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9-6 and Weekends 9-5

Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient/ Call CenterJob Responsibilities:

• Answer any and all phone calls within your department pertaining to patient, physician, or insurance questions.
• Track and triage all phone calls to the appropriate party.
• Enter and document each phone call into the pharmacy system, and notify providers, patients, and pharmacy staff of all necessary information imperative to process each patient’s prescription.
• Obtain detailed information from any caller that is required to assist in processing their prescription or inquiry.
• Obtain verbal authorizations and request detailed clinical information from prescribers.
• Receive new written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate.
• Track and triage coverage determination requests submitted from providers and determine if a pharmacist review is required.

Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient/ Call Center Job Requirements:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license required
• In Pharmacy Tech school? Please Apply! Pharmacy Clerk positions available!
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy experience preferred

Rx relief Hiring Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Background and Drug Screening required
• Health Screening required
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
