POSITION SUMMARYThis is a Part-Time RN position, which provides clinical support to our Gulfport, Hattiesburg and Laurel clinics by triaging clinical phone calls, facilitating prior authorizations, and processing prescription refill requests. Communicates with remote clinic providers, nurses, and patients in order to provide cohesiveness across all clinic sites. Performs lab tests and procedures, directs patient flow, and supports clinical operations.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS1 Appropriate licensing for Registered Nurse within the state of practice2 One to three years’ work experience in a related field

1 Perform vital signs, lab tests and procedures promptly and accurately; Report unusual results to Provider (Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician) immediately. 2 Maintain efficient patient flow from check-in through check-out process, including but
not limited to cleaning and restocking exam rooms and triage area after each use 3 Travel as required to provide coverage for remote clinical sites.3 Maintain lab equipment, procedural instruments, supplies, and reports as required by CLIA4 Support the Nurse Practitioner and provide assistance as needed with population health management tasks.5 Perform medical care duties within the scope of practice.6 Schedule and compile patient records. Document clinical and health information accurately and in a timely manner7 Assure that lab results are appropriately managed and documented. 8 Retrieve outside data as needed for proper treatment of patients.9 Interact with patients, staff and others in a positive, caring and respectful manner that supports the professional standards of the Clinic and Vigilant Health.10 Participate in clinical quality improvement projects.11 Other duties as assigned.
