Job Description

Our client is a leading designer and producer of high-quality contemporary furniture. They are looking to add experienced Supervisors to their growing team in Clayton. The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience in a supervisory role, and be comfortable organizing and leading a Packaging team in a fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities -

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the packaging team. This includes, but is not limited to, packaging furniture products, quality assurance, customer service & labeling.

- Monitor efficient and safe packaging of products, and correctly label items for shipping.

- Communicate with the Plant Manager to create effective management strategy

- Oversee general tool & equipment maintenance and quality assurance, and ensure the station meets professional and safety standards.

- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires, train members of the warehouse team, and communicate productivity goals and expectations.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements -

- 2+ years working in a supervisory role in a warehousing or production environment.

- Experience packaging large objects in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

- Bilingual Spanish and English fluency is a plus.
