Title: Land Survey Tech
Location: Itasca or Aurora, IL
Duration: Permanent Hire

Seeking an organized, detailed oriented, highly motivated individual to work in its Surveying Group. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities Include:

• Field work for construction layout, topographic surveys, subdivision development, ALTA Land Title Surveys and roadway projects
• Review and follow project scope; maintain clear and accurate field notes and electronic data
• Ability to multitask, adhere to timelines and remain focused
• Perform physical tasks such as pounding stakes, setting monuments, clearing line, walking through a variety of terrain, carrying equipment, etc.

Qualifications:

• Working Knowledge of GPS and Robotic Survey equipment
• Understanding of construction layout, topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA Land Title Surveys, and subdivisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of field conditions, temperatures and weather
• A valid driver's license
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation a plus, however not required
• High School diploma
• 1-2 years of related experience
