•Job Title: Industrial Painter
•Location: Naples, FL
•Type of Position: RPO Direct Hire
•Shifts Available:
•1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Swing Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
•Pay Rate: $20 - $24 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Industrial Painter with experience in autobody painting—not house painting. Ideal candidates will have experience using automatic paint equipment, rust removal techniques, and working in spray booths with protective clothing.

Key Responsibilities:
•Operate hand-painting equipment and automatic paint lines to apply final finishes per specifications.
•Set up and operate automatic paint lines and hand-painting booths.
•Prepare and operate sprayers, mix coating liquids for desired properties and colors.
•Clean and maintain spraying equipment and brushes with solvents.
•Heat and spray wax onto products after testing.
•Inspect work for paint thickness and ensure proper documentation.
•Perform minor paint prep duties, including:
oEnsuring surfaces are free of dirt, oil, and debris.
oStripping and cleaning improperly finished parts for re-paint.
oRemoving rust or old paint from metal using acid, wire brushes, or steel wool.
oMasking and preparing devices for painting.
oMonitoring chemical concentrations in cleaning baths as needed.
oApplying filler paint and paste to applicable engraved areas.
•Maintain inventory of consumable paint supplies.
•Properly handle all equipment and hazardous waste materials.
•Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
•Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
•2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with industrial or autobody painting.
•Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
•Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives.
•Ability to interpret reports and use job-specific software (e.g., production tracking systems).
•Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Physical & Mental Demands:
•Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
•Manual dexterity to operate painting equipment.
•Close vision is required for detail work.
•Regular attendance and professionalism required.
•Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.

Additional Information:
•Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
