DHF GYM MANAGER
The DHF Club Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of the club, including driving profitability, member satisfaction, sales, employee development. This position will be able to operate at both of DHF-1 and the New DHF-2 locations as needed and reports to the General Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities / Operational Performance: - Accountable for the daily operations that facilitates the best member experience possible
- Facilitate and lead financial profitability for the club with driving revenues and managing expenses
- Oversees the Front Desk / Sales Team to ensure that KPIs are met.
- Works to ensure the club is meeting or exceeding the daily, monthly and yearly membership forecast
- Works in collaboration with other department to ensure the club is meeting the member experience required to meet and exceed the daily, monthly and yearly forecast across all channels
- Come with a mindset to prepare the club for success on a daily basis to reach the goals that are set.
- Creating strategies to ensure the vision (forward thinking) ie: need new front desk / sales / kid zone, always looking for new staff to fill holes but making sure to effectively manage costs.
Team & People Management (Leadership): - Maintains managerial oversight for departments (Front Desk, Sales, Kids Zone, and Maintenance) and communicates regularly with each person.
- Understands the companys Mission Statement, core values and overall culture of the business, leading by example and holding all employees accountable to The spirit of DHFs Core Values.
- Works closely with all departments to ensure cohesive operations.
- Accountable for complete staffing of all front desk / kid zone positions in the club including the training, coaching, disciplining, completion of reviews and termination.
- Manage and Schedule all kids zone / front desk employees and sales team to ensure the club is staffed properly to hit their goals while staying within the parameters of the payroll budgets
- Effectively manage and communicate Policies and Procedures and make sure they are being uniformly enforced
- Creates a positive and healthy workplace that fosters constant and never-ending improvement
- Willing to put time into bettering themselves and grow through reading or partaking in leadership education events (virtual roundtables / pod costs / etc)
- Participates with the Senior Leadership Team to build the annual forecast
Club Management: - Able to effectively and timely return text messages / phone calls with managers and staff as needed.
- Educates and enforces club policies and procedures and ensures consistency
- Understands the systems that are in place and the dependencies and inter-dependencies of these systems.
- Responds quickly to member issues and complaints in a timely and courteous fashion. Able to take on the hard issues and deal with them.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and maintaining relationships with the customers to ensure their experience
Key Qualifications: - Always carry and conduct themselves professionally
- Related Health Club experience in a leadership role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Thrives in a customer focused environment
- Is not concerned with the clock and does what it takes to get the job done. (Always the hardest working person in the building)
Education/ Experience: - Sales
- Customer service
- Leadership
- College Education preferred
- CPR/AED certified
Position type and expected hours of work: This is a full-time position with varied hours based on business needs. This position requires nights and weekend hours. 50+ hours/week to be expected. Come with an attitude to do what it takes to get the job done.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position is responsible for the leadership, interviewing, hiring, firing, scheduling, and performance managing all management staff in their club.
