Job Description
Andrew Morgan Consulting, LLC seeks both Junior and Mid-level Financial Management Consultant to join our team! The Financial Management Consultant is responsible for designing and implementing Corporate Performance Management (CPM) frameworks for clients. The optimal candidate is interested in extending their finance skills and understanding into implementing software tools to enable our clients to realize their vision of CPM.
Job Role and Responsibilities - Apply Financial Management and Accounting practices and knowledge to problem solving and solution development.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical individuals, development teams, and client end-users.
- Participate and contribute to client requirements gathering and refinement sessions.
- Participate and facilitate Agile management of project tasks including prioritization, scoping, sizing, and detailed architecture development.
- Contribute on a multi-functional team in a variety of roles across the lifecycle of the project
- Continuous learning of new technologies, industry standards, and best practices to advance the team's capabilities.
- Create documentation and training materials in creative ways to facilitate a better understanding of the tools by end users.
- Focused on training to gain an understanding of how to apply FM concepts to software tools such as OneStream.
- Participate in marketing activities including proposal development, conference attendance, development of marketing demos and materials, etc.
- Possess strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 1-4 years experience with Financial Consolidation, Planning & Budgeting, Cost Estimation, or Audit.
- Ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment for in-person and remote teams.
- Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
Desired Qualifications - Functional and technical knowledge of OneStream software application and components.
- Understanding of data modelling, ETL and warehousing.
- Understanding of data visualization and presentation techniques.
- Experience with identifying and correcting problems with imperfect data and processes.
- Ability to write code in python, .NET, and SQL
- Experience with data conversions, APIs, interfaces, integrations, and reporting and analytics.
Work Location - 100% Remote, DC-Metro Area preferred, ad hoc travel for team meeting in the DC-Metro area and client sites as needed.
Salary - Salary is commensurate with location and experience.
