** Director, Restaurant Technology and Innovation**
**LOCATIONS: **Louisville****
KFC is looking for a dynamic technology leader to define and transform restaurant technology at KFCs 4,000+ US based restaurants. KFC has a bold goal of becoming a category leader in restaurant technology and building a state-of-the-art restaurant technology operating platform over the next few years. The Director of Restaurant Technology will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer for KFC US and will be responsible for creating the IT strategy and execution of back-office technology, infrastructure, network operations and implementation services.
Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, vision and direction to modernize and innovate around the back of house, Infrastructure, Network Operations and Implementation systems to deliver high quality, cutting edge solutions to our key stakeholders.
* Manage the application development team, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization, as well as building on existing recruiting capabilities to address new needs and skills gaps.
* Lead the design and development of KFCs infrastructure to meet the security, capacity, availability, and demand needs of KFC restaurant, above restaurant, and consumer-facing systems.
* Coach and mentor team members by growing their technical capability and business acumen.
* Manage financial responsibilities and budget for all G&A, operating expenses, and projects led by the restaurant technology team.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical training.
* Experience managing and leading a large and diverse technical team in application development and/or infrastructure to execute on broader organization strategy.
* Demonstrated success in project management and delivery of software design/development, mobile applications, application architecture, software integration, and automated software testing for a large organization.
* Strong understanding of an agile software development process.
* Demonstrated experience managing a significant budget and managing IT contracts.
* Experience with development and implementation of processes and policies and with agile development and DevOps principles and frameworks.
Preferred Requirements:
* Experience developing solutions in Azure and AWS.
* Mobile application development and deployment experience.
* Experience working in the restaurant industry.
* Experience in managing external IT service providers.
* Experience managing the risk and cost implications of IT contracts or contract negotiations.
