Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and growth-oriented Director of Department of Defense Sales, USPS to lead and expand our US Department of Defense (DoD) business. Reporting to the VP of US Public Sector, this pivotal role involves setting the vision and driving operational excellence to achieve substantial growth in the US DoD sector. You will play a key role in developing and executing our DoD go-to-market strategy, ensuring seamless sales realization, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet strategic, financial, and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth: Maximize the potential of existing relationships and identify new opportunities to increase sales. Develop long-term market strategies to gain a competitive edge.
Sales and Territory Management: Engage in planning, relationship development, and opportunity management. Support the DoD sales teams in closing deals and driving revenue.
Expand Market Capabilities: Enhance our ability to sell effectively in a dynamic, multi-product environment and a demanding market.
Strategic Partner Engagement: Collaborate closely with strategic partners to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Innovative Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and expand the account base in target markets.
Business Development: Implement a business development plan aligned with high-potential initiatives within the DoD sector.
Customer Engagement: Introduce innovative ideas that address key industry challenges and highlight our unique value proposition.
Collaborative Vision Setting: Build strong relationships with internal teams including Sales, Product Engineering, and Marketing to craft and execute an innovative vision for our DoD business.
Key Requirements
Leadership Experience: Proven track record of hiring and leading diverse, high-performing teams across different locations.
Goal Achievement: Demonstrated success in exceeding goals and identifying new opportunities through partners.
Technical Acumen: Ability to understand how technology solutions address business problems, especially in the DoD sector.
IT Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with evolving IT infrastructure, including cloud and hybrid architectures, is a plus.
Sales Expertise: Experience leading sales efforts in the US Public Sector and a track record of success in a SaaS environment.
Communication Skills: Effective communicator with clarity, simplicity, and passion.
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field is desired; Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience, including strategic and people leadership roles.
Management: 5+ years of experience managing teams.
Sales Experience: 5+ years in selling IT solutions in the US Public Sector, with a focus on DoD preferred.
Performance Record: Proven ability to exceed quotas and manage substantial business units.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $395,000 - $483,560 in total on-target earnings. Compensation will be determined based on location, qualifications, experience, and education. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, performance-based incentives, and more. Benefits may vary by location and are subject to local laws and regulations.
