Position Overview The Mortgage Compliance Analyst's primary responsibility is to facilitate lending compliance solutions across sales and operational systems. The Mortgage Compliance Analyst will ensure the mortgage process is compliant with governing regulations and work to enhance origination integrity while assisting with improving workflow efficiencies, quality, accuracy and uniformity of mortgage lending products and services. This position reports to the VP/Legal Affairs & Compliance.
The position is hybrid and travel to the Stamford office location will be required periodically.
General Responsibilities - Assist with tracking and monitoring of emerging issues and trends in mortgage banking regulations.
- Assist with drafting responses to banking department examinations and inquiries from regulatory agencies.
- Test the Loan Origination System (LOS) to ensure corrective actions have been implemented.
- Assist QC Department with implementation and testing of corrective actions.
- Assist with preparing compliance reports for senior management.
- Assist with internal audits, including but not limited to, monitoring and testing of Compliance Management System and Fair Lending requirements.
- Perform quarterly reviews and reconciliation of HMDA and Call Report data.
- Assist with monitoring workflows within the LOS to ensure adherence with all mortgage related regulations, including but not limited to ECOA, HMDA, TRID, AML and Fair Lending.
- When requested, participate in committee meetings for new regulatory, program or procedural changes.
- Other duties and special assignments as requested by management.
Qualifications - Five years' relevant experience in mortgage compliance management.
- Experience with State Exams, Auditors and HMDA LAR preferred.
- Encompass experience preferred.
- Proficient in Excel reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
- Overtime may be required.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $95,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
