About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the finance department and other key internal administrative functions, including human resources and information systems. This role is pivotal in the strategic leadership and overall management of the organization, with a focus on driving growth, impact, and financial sustainability. Key responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer include managing the organization's accounting and budget, ensuring financial sustainability, and federal and state regulatory compliance. Applicants for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior management role within a non-profit organization, foundation, or government agency. An advanced degree or MBA from an accredited university is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance oversight, including experience with Federal and State grant management, and a proven track record in all aspects of the budgeting process within a non-profit setting. Additionally, the role demands a passion for the organization's mission and a demonstrated commitment to social equity, inclusion, and diversity. The Chief Financial Officer will be expected to provide visionary leadership, operational excellence, and collaborative management to support the company's objectives.
