We are currently seeking an Associate Attorneys with 3+ years of experience, open to practicing in a variety of practice areas including, but not limited to, commercial litigation, real estate transactions and finance, land use and zoning, and personal injury. Potential partner track is available and encouraged.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload from inception to resolution. You will work closely with our team of experienced attorneys to develop strategies for complex personal injury cases, including car accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and wrongful death claims. Your responsibilities will include:
- Representing clients in court or before government agencies.
- Presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
- Selecting jurors, arguing motions, meeting with judges, and questioning witnesses during the course of a trial.
- Studying and interpreting laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Presenting and summarizing cases to judges and juries.
- Evaluating findings and developing strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Gathering evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
- Negotiating settlements of civil disputes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- 3+ years of experience as an attorney.
- Good Standing issued by the State Bar of Arizona.
- Proven track record of success in Insurance Defense, significant trial experience is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to drive a case to resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
