Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year

Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to handle challenging responsibilities and further develop your career in the legal industry. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that handles a diverse caseload, including civil litigation and personal injury. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the legal field, with a strong emphasis on civil litigation and personal injury cases.
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation and personal injury cases.
2. Prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and depositions.
3. Conduct legal research and gather evidence, ensuring all case-related information is accurate and up-to-date.
4. Counsel clients on their legal rights, advising on the best course of action according to the law.
5. Negotiate settlements in civil disputes, aiming to resolve cases favorably for our clients.
6. Participate in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings, representing the interests of our clients.
7. Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, sharing knowledge and contributing to the overall success of our firm.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality and professional integrity at all times.
9. Stay updated on the latest changes in laws and regulations that may affect our clients and their cases.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney with a focus on civil litigation and personal injury cases.
3. Active member of the state bar association in good standing.
4. Proven experience in representing clients in court, demonstrating excellent litigation skills.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successful dispute resolution.
6. Excellent research and report-writing skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of complex information.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to counsel and build relationships with clients.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
9. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
