Purpose of Role The Asset Protection Teammate's primary responsibilities for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in the DH. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the DH's physical security, and driving a shrinkelimination culture.
Your Impact - Investigate reports, technical procedures, and policy and procedure.
- Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries,
- Preserve evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in criminal and civil court actions.
- Assist in maintaining all aspects of access control
- Monitor and record incoming and outgoing flow at the entrance of DH
- Assist in supervising contract security guards
- Ensure adherence to C-TPAT requirements
- Complete daily patrols to ensure compliance with all physical security controls
- Educate DH employees on asset protection, shrinkage, and impact on the business
- Communicate concerns regarding DH acts of theft and fraud
- Ensure trailer seal controls are in place
- Interface with other departments including, but not limited to DH, Information Technology Legal, HR, and Retail.
Qualifications - High school diploma with typically 2-4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems; warehouse control systems, Excel, running reports, and interpreting and communicating data/metrics.
- Familiarity with digital camera systems and card access software
- The essential functions of the job are usually performed indoors and may rarely be performed outdoors, including during both hot and cold weather. Work performed will be near or involving moving mechanical equipment. Work may be performed at heights of up to 50 feet.
- Regularly handles objects, tools, and/or controls; reaches with arms; uses cutting device to open or break down cartons.
- May frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds overhead.
- Vision abilities depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
- Experience in distribution center policies, procedures, and best practices related to physical security systems, oversight of contract security, cargo security practices, and workplace violence.
Workplace Location - Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Nashville Distribution Center office.

Relocation Base Compensation $21.00 - $28.88 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
