Accountant Job in Sheboygan Area

A regional manufacturing company is looking to add a new Accountant to their team. This role has been newly created due to growth of the company. A huge perk is this role can be on site, hybrid, or remote.

Job Duties:

• Partner with Director of Finance on month/year end close procedures
• Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports on variances
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting
• Assists with preparation for annual audits
• Physical inventories and monitor the cycle count
• Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
• Provide support for other accounting functions when needed

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years of experience, internship counts
• Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Problem solving and process improvement mindset
• Attention to detail and organization
